Bluffing wasn’t an integral part of Poker initially, but with time and with more and more people getting into the act of bluffing, it has become almost an inseparable aspect of the game. Another reason for the unprecedented popularity of bluffing in context to the game is the way television has portrayed bluffing as being an art in the recent years. The classic twitch of an eye leading to a win and the perfect bluff fooling the opponent have become the hallmark of the World Poker. Bluffing has become synonymous with some of the most famous television Poker relays- The World Series of Poker. Bluffing and Poker are seen in an association and it is hard to imagine a single game of Poker without that slight, unpredictable element of bluffing involved. Not only the World Series of Poker, but a number of poker movies and TV shows have attributed to the escalation of the popularity of bluffing in the game. The act of bluffing has become so vital that for those who don’t possess the knack of making the right bluffs at the right time, winning big cash at a Poker game is almost impossible.
