Internet has certainly provided the Poker world with some of the best players, but, some of the most naïve and rookie level players are also found “testing their skills” online. Such players do not have even the slightest of ideas about bluffing and often fall prey to some of the more seasoned online and offline Poker players. Therefore, if one is not sure about the probabilistic values and the statistical aspects of bluffing, then bluffing might be a riskier approach to follow. With all its pros and cons, Poker bluffing is, above all, one of the most entertaining parts of a Poker game. The entertainment aspect of bluffing becomes all the more important when there is a huge audience watching the game. Poker without bluffing is like sea without fish. As a basic guideline, Poker bluffing requires one to have an adequate knowledge of some of the most basic and elementary aspects of Poker- the number of players in the game, the level of your competition, the kind of moves your opponents have been making (that is, their tendency to bluff and fall for a bluff), the cards on the table and your hands. The cost of the bluff and the relative cost of the pot matter the most.
